Why do I have to pay for some services?

NHS services are provided free at the point of use, however some services we provide are outside the scope of the NHS and hence we provide these on a private basis.

Examples of these are some travel vaccines (e.g. yellow fever, rabies), specialist medicals (e.g. HGV, diving) and medical reports for insurance purposes.
